If you’re a fan of all things sweet, you’re going to want to check out the new bakery that just leased the space at the high visible retail/restaurant spot. The bakery is called Cakd by Tae, and the owner, Davonta, is sharing his journey with the world through social media.
The 1,100 sq ft space has ample parking, including food truck parking. Plus, it’s located near City Green/Center and is convenient to Hwy 54, Hwy 138, and US 41. And if you’re traveling, you’ll be happy to know that the bakery is only 10 miles from the ATL International Airport.
With high traffic counts of 10,500, it’s clear that Cakd by Tae is going to be a popular spot. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic chocolate chip cookie or a custom-designed cake for a special occasion, they’re sure to have something to satisfy your sweet tooth.

This space was HOT! It is an amazing location for traffic counts, walkability, parking and general area, so even though we listed the space as retail/restaurant/bakery, we had many non-restaurant/bakery inquiries as well.
BUT ONE OF THE SECRETS we share with our landlords is that . . .
Maintaining similar use once a lease is coming to an end, can often save both tenant and landlord time and money. Allow us to explain: The tenant is likely to have a quicker turnaround time for buildout, therefore increasing the business profit margin, in addition, they’re likely going to adopt some of the previous business’ customers, again, increasing the profit margin. The landlord is likely to save on any tenant improvement requests or free rent, and of course, loves a successful tenant that will want to renew the lease, thrive and continue to attract customers to the plaza. Tenants stay successful. Vacancies stay low. Landlord profit increases, allowing additional room for building improvements/maintenance or use that profit to invest in additional income producing properties. Everyone wins.
